Forklift Operator

We are currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Forklift Operator to join our client’s production team based in Dandenong South.

Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer and distributor of steel building products, long steel, sheet, and coil, with over 20 years of industry experience. They are specialists in all things steel and steel accessories

Location: Dandenong South

Hours: Monday – Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:



Safe and efficient operation of a forklift (loading and unloading steel products)



Setting up and operating machinery as required



Operating an overhead crane



Performing general warehouse duties



Manual handling and assisting with production as needed

About You:



Proven experience in machine operation (steel industry experience highly regarded)



Valid Forklift Licence essential



Confident using hand and power tools



Experience handling bulky or heavy goods (up to 25kg)



Strong work ethic and positive attitude



Safety-focused, self-motivated, and physically fit



Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test and Police Check.
